1st Annual Ride Against
When: Saturday August 26,2006
Where : 4th Ave N. (In front of Magic City Barbershop)
Between 17th ST. N and 18th ST. N
Time: Prayer Begins at 10:00am and Ride Begins at 12noon sharp
Route
(Motor Bikes and Cars will form a processional headed down 4th ave N.
towards 3rd ave W. and continuing down Bessemer Rd. which will reach
the 5points West, Ensley and Midfield neighborhoods.
 
On
Saturday August 26,2006 we are holding a prayer rally and ride against
violence .We are looking forward to organizing one of the largest
gathering of motorcycle and car clubs ever, to bring awareness to the
rise in violent crime in our city and state. This event is being held
to gather people from all communities and all walks of life together in
an unified effort to show that we care about our neighborhoods and that
we are not going to just sit back and let the criminal element rise and
take over. We are going to show that we are ready and more than willing
to take a stand so that our children might feel safe in their
neighborhood, community centers, parks, streets and schools.
This
event will bring awareness to the violence that has been plaguing our
communities and hopefully bond friends and neighbors to encourage them
to take a stand and utilize their voice in the community to make a
positive change.

with our year round effort to help parents in home intervention, grief
consulting, school uniforms, school shoes, hair cuts and many other
demands. We need your financial support to meet not only this budget
but it will also allow us to continue in the work that we are called to
do. We are totally funded by private citizens, businesses, community
leaders and fund raising efforts throughout the year. We appreciate any
contribution that you can make to our organization and we thank you in
advance.

Ride Against Violence Budget $7,000.00
This
includes promotions, marketing, communications, sound equipment, school
supplies (to be gives away) permits, police details and escorts, also
newspaper, TV. Radio advertisement.
 
There are three Sponsorship Promotional Packages
Package #1 is a $500.00 Donation-
This
will make you an official sponsor of the event and it will attach your
name or the name of your business to all advertisements connected to
the event and you will receive 10 free registration stickers and
t-shirts.
Package #2 is a $250.00 Donation-
This
will make you a valued sponsor of the event and you or your company
will be mentioned in selected advertisement. You will also receive 5
free registration stickers for the event and 5 t-shirts.
Package #3 is a $20.00 or more Donation-
this
will list you or your company as a proud sponsor of our organization
will and you will receive 1 frees registration sticker for the event
and 1 t-shirt.
